For the 2014 Winter Olympics, AT&T wanted to launch a campaign that would support the US athletes competing in the events. So they launched a free app that let users pledge their support by submitting videos of them chanting “U-S-A.” The pride-filled results would be captured in a collage of videos to be promoted through out-of-home media, featured online, and broadcast on TV.
